KC Basics 101 - On the Road in Portville, NY!
Foundations for Everyday Life with Your Dog
KC Basics 101 is a 6-week class designed for adolescent dogs, new dog owners, or anyone looking to build (or rebuild) a strong foundation with their pup. This course focuses on communication, engagement, and essential life skills that help you and your dog enjoy more together—in and out of the home.
Perfect for dogs over 5 months old, this class emphasizes practical tools that strengthen the dog-handler bond through positive, play-based training.
You and your dog will learn:
✅ How to use clear communication markers
✅ Building focus and engagement around distractions
✅ Core commands for everyday life (sit, down, come, leave it, etc.)
✅ Intro to polite leash walking
✅ Exposure to new environments, sounds, and surfaces
✅ Skills to increase confidence and responsiveness

Whether you’re just starting out or refreshing your skills, KC Basics 101 helps lay the groundwork for future success and a more enjoyable life with your dog.

KC Cool & Collected
A group class designed specifically for reactive dogs who need support learning how to stay calm, focused, and collected in the presence of their triggers.
Does your dog bark, lunge, or become overstimulated on leash when they see other dogs, people, or movement? You're not alone—and you’re not stuck.
Our KC Cool & Collected class is here to help dogs who struggle with:
🐕🦺 Leash reactivity
🗯️ Over-the-top excitement
🔁 Quick threshold jumps (fast from fine to frantic)
⚠️ Inability to settle or focus when others are nearby
What You’ll Learn:
